Comva applies a principle of minimal data collection. The service is based neither on the commercial exploitation of user data nor on a business model funded by targeted advertising.
For users, Comva does not require an email address. The only data processed are those strictly necessary for the operation of the service, in particular:
- the age declared by the user;
- location data, only with the user’s consent, in order to enable features related to the map and proximity;
- an internal technical identifier;
- messages posted in discussion spaces when those spaces are used;
- certain technical data strictly necessary for the security, maintenance, and proper functioning of the service.
For Studio Comva administrators, an email address may be used in order to enable service-related communication, administrator account management, and secure access to the Studio through a username and password.
These data are used exclusively to provide the service, ensure its security, prevent abuse, enable local zone administration, and improve the technical functioning of the application.
The data are neither transferred nor resold to third parties for commercial purposes. They may be processed only by technical service providers strictly necessary for operating the service, in compliance with confidentiality requirements.
